That's really impressive, actually--it looks like a single natural piece. You've done a very good job at putting the various stock images together.

Great image! I put metallo01 in stock photos for this! But if you have a camera and a scanner you can create your personal texture that can make GREAT your work! It isn't a critique but I think that if you can think your image and composition you can also create your textures! Laziness is dangerous!

In reguards to using at a texture it was interesting. I had no intend of using at a texture to begin with. I just started by collecting images that I found interesting for one reason or another. I was going to use the piece for a back drop. As I had said before I was going to make a whole person but then I ended up with just a mask. I also was just going to leave the mask just bone. However, once I dropped this piece onto the canvas I thought... wouldn't this be interesting. I tried it out and liked it so I used it. Infact, that texture is the least modified stock in the whole image. The rest of the colors were based on the color of your piece. I am by no means saying it wasn't, "laziness," just something clicked in my head when I saw it and that's how it became what it was in a round about way.

So I realize that when I created this piece my computers gamma is set to give me nice darks and lights, however when I viewed this piece from other computer their gamma gave this piece a ghosted effect which I did not desire. This piece is not suposed to be ghosted, I am sry if you see it that way. My computer showed it as a clear mask.
